Pastor Charley, along with his wife, Susan, joined the Union Baptist Church staff June 1, 2021. Celebrating 43 years of marriage, they have two children and six grandchildren. Pastor Charley and Susan, native Kentuckians, have lived in West Virginia for over 15 years. He attended Morehead State University (KY), Louisville Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (KY). He has received a Bachelor’s degree and a Master of Divinity.

Prior to coming to Union Baptist Church, he served as senior pastor of several churches in Kentucky, as Director of Missions (KY) (similar to Area Minister), and as Marshall University Campus Minister.
